Hydrauvision has designed and built a large water transport system for Ghent city centre fire-fighting zone. This unique mobile system is built to customer specifications and can be used to extinguish large fires with water or foam.

Recently, Hydrauvision delivered a mobile pumping system. This system was built to customer specifications and will be deployed in Turkey in the event of flooding. The total scope consists of 3 high-capacity hook-lift units and 6 medium-capacity units on one trailer.

AvL Motion B.V. has developed an innovative selective asparagus harvesting robot to take over the intensive labour required to harvest asparagus. Hydrauvision supplies the hydraulic system, including components.

A new, larger sea lock is being built at the entrance of the North Sea Canal near IJmuiden to provide access to the Amsterdam port area. The new sea lock is 500 metres in length, 70 meters in width and has a depth of 18 metres, making it the world’s largest sea lock. Construction was started in January 2016, and the new sea lock will be ready for use by ships in early 2022. Hydrauvision also contributes to this enormous project.

Together with Damen Dredging equipment, Hydrauvision Rental offers hydraulic powerpacks in combination with a complete range of heavy-duty and cost-effective submersible dredge pumps. The compact Damen DOP pumps are directly powered by a hydraulic motor, mounted in a protective casing. 

Recently, Hydrauvision has delivered an impressive Fire Fighting (FiFi) system. The system is built according to customers’ requirements and has a pump capacity of more than 80,000 liters of water per minute.

Van Oord is a leader in underwater rock placement (SRI - Subsea rock installation). This is done using a fall-pipe vessel. SRI vessel Bravenes is a unique new ship within the Van Oord fleet. The ship, with a dead weight of 14,000 tonnes, can be used for the placement of a wide range of rock sizes. The skidding system is a component that facilitates placing rocks at any location.

The river Göta Älv runs straight through the city of Gothenburg in Sweden. In order to relieve the pressure on the heavily congested Tingsta tunnel, an additional tunnel is being built: the Marieholm tunnel. All major highways in Gothenburg will use the new Marieholm tunnel to reduce congestion on local roads.

For the construction of a new marina on the west side of Dover Harbour, hundreds of steel piles are needed to be driven into the seabed using a hydraulic hammer. Due to the very large number of piles, there was invested in two unique, innovative piling templates to be able to place them in the right position at a faster pace. In cooperation with TWD, Hydrauvision took care of the engineering, production and installation of all hydraulic components and associated piping.
