Danfoss Editron, a leader in the mobile electric powertrain system market, is strengthening its distributor strategy through a close cooperation with Hydrauvision. To further develop the mobile electric powertrain market with Danfoss, Hydrauvision has taken over the activities of Danfoss Editron in Heerenveen as of June 1st , 2021. With the acquisition of these activities and assets, Hydrauvision ensures continuity of customer support, and extends the knowledge of the specialists and the test facilities in Heerenveen to the broader market. This is an important step in shaping the electric future with sustainable electric and hybrid systems. With this acquisition, Hydrauvision adds a new division to its activities. This division will continue under the name Electrauvision.

Complete powertrain technology solutions

The partnership between Hydrauvision and Danfoss goes back to Hydrauvision’s origins. The relationship between the companies, with Danfoss as a supplier and Hydrauvision as a system integrator, has existed for over 45 years. Danfoss is a global total supplier for mobile electric and hydraulic powertrain components and solutions. The products can be found in a wide range of off-highway and on-highway applications and in the marine sector.
Hydrauvision is also active in these sectors in the Benelux, developing electric, hydraulic and combined systems for special applications and supporting its customers in realizing drive technology solutions.

With this step the relationship is growing into a cooperation in which the possibilities for developing the most optimal powertrain systems can be fully utilized.

Building the future

At the end of last year, Hydrauvision acquired Fundex Equipment from Royal-IHC. With this acquisition, a specialist in foundation machinery has become part of the group. Electrification is an important topic in the construction equipment and with Electrauvision the development towards low-emission or ultimately emission-free construction machines can be accelerated. Hydrauvision has also recently increased its share in Technotron to strengthen the entire chain of drive technology and automation. Technotron is specialized in the engineering and production of electrical control cabinets and industrial automation. With a combination of high-quality engineering, inventiveness, solution-oriented, production and test facilities, Hydrauvision can offer its customers optimal solutions.
