Reliable hydraulic solutions for precise positioning
During the installation of the export cables, the pontoon must be positioned and moved with a high degree of accuracy and control. Hydrauvision Rental is supplying nine hydraulic 50-tonne winches for this purpose. The winches are integrated into the positioning and mooring system, enabling controlled positioning of the pontoon throughout the installation activities.
The system is powered by the HP1150 Stage V hydraulic power pack. This fully redundant hydraulic power unit is designed for reliable 24/7 operation. Its Stage V configuration also complies with the applicable emission requirements for operations within the Natura 2000 protected area of the ‘Veerse Meer’.
Engineering, Fabrication and Commissioning
Hydrauvision’s contribution extends beyond the supply of rental equipment. For the hydraulic power unit, Hydrauvision is also responsible for the engineering and fabrication of the complete fuel, hydraulic and exhaust systems. All associated piping was fabricated by Hydrauvision Piping and installed on board.
In addition, our commissioning team provides support during the installation, testing and commissioning of the system. This ensures that all components are properly integrated and that the complete hydraulic system can be put into operation safely and reliably.
