What you will do
As a Sourcing Specialist, you are the vital link between suppliers and internal departments. You negotiate contracts, analyze market trends, and contribute to strategic purchasing decisions. At the same time, you personally ensure that all administrative processes run smoothly: you process orders, keep supplier data up to date, and make sure everything is accurately recorded in the system. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
In this role, you are responsible for the entire procurement process. You select suppliers, lead negotiations, and finalize contracts. In addition, you’re actively involved in daily operations: you independently handle purchase requests, maintain the ERP system, and manage all related documentation. You also prepare reports, support tender processes, and collaborate closely with colleagues from finance, logistics, and sales. This means you’re not only involved at a strategic level, but also operationally indispensable.
You also bring:
- A completed MBO+ or HBO education, for example in Procurement, Logistics, or Business Administration
- Proven experience with administrative tasks in a procurement environment
- A precise, independent and structured work approach
- Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) is a plus
- Good command of both Dutch and English languages
