As a service technician, you will work on foundation machines and related components both at our Middelburg facility and on-site at client locations. After a thorough onboarding with Fundex Equipment colleagues, you will work independently—usually with a well-equipped service van, and sometimes traveling by plane. The machines are located in various countries, within Europe and beyond. You will be part of a young team of around 8 service technicians under the guidance of the service coordinator.
What you will do
At the company (often in collaboration with colleagues):
- Adjust and test new machines
- Prepare machines for transport
- Repair and maintain used machines
On-site:
- Perform service on hydraulic systems, components, and diesel engines
- Inspect and maintain systems within the machine, such as central lubrication
- Deliver and commission new or used machines
- Guide new clients from start to finish on assembling, operating, maintaining, and preparing machines for transport
- Detect and resolve all types of malfunctions—electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, or engine-related—often independently, sometimes with client personnel or a colleague for larger tasks

- Proficiency in Dutch and English; German is a plus
- Experience is a plus, but the right mindset is most important
