What will you be doing?
As a Field Service Engineer, you are Hydrauvision’s technical point of contact on location. You perform service, repair and maintenance work on hydraulic systems – both regionally and internationally. You troubleshoot faults, carry out overhauls and test systems until everything runs as it should.
You also commission new systems and provide customers with clear instructions on operation and maintenance. You document your work in clear service reports and record test results accurately.
Most of your work takes place outdoors: in ports, on ships and at industrial client sites. And that’s exactly what motivates you. You like freedom, variety and the ability to take responsibility in your work. Projects may take place at home or abroad – both onshore and offshore.
Your working hours are from 07:00 to 16:00 (with fixed breaks). A four-day workweek is possible. Flexibility is important due to breakdown services: sometimes you finish early, sometimes a bit later. Overtime is, of course, well compensated.
You’re great at:
- Diagnosing, repairing and overhauling hydraulic systems on-site
- Reading diagrams and technical drawings; performing functional tests
- Identifying faults, executing solutions, and verifying results
- Commissioning installations and providing user instructions
- Writing clear and complete service reports
- Planning, prioritising and switching tasks independently
You also bring:
- Passion for technology and experience with similar technical work
- A hands-on, solution-oriented attitude
- The ability to work independently and take ownership
- Flexibility when it comes to working hours and troubleshooting tasks
- Physical fitness to work on ships, in ports and at industrial sites
