What you will do
You will assist in the design and construction of a battery container that will be used at our test site for electric drive systems. This test environment already includes motors, generators, microgrids, and load banks – but currently lacks energy storage. You will help make that possible!
What you excel at
- Designing a mechanical container for a battery storage system
- Collaborating with an electrical engineer to integrate existing Li-Ion batteries and the Battery Management System (BMS)
- Taking into account applicable legislation and regulations for energy storage
- Contributing ideas regarding the safety, accessibility, and modularity of the design
- Supporting during the build, installation, and testing phases
What we expect from you
- You are currently pursuing a technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field
- You have an affinity for sustainable technology and mechanical design
- You are independent, precise, and communicative
- You are available during the summer period or for an internship
