Design machines that make a global impact
Would you rather design complete technical systems that are actually built than spend weeks drawing the same component? At Hydrauvision, you’ll work on custom-engineered solutions for customers around the globe. Our projects serve industries including offshore wind, dredging, steel production and petrochemicals.
You’ll be involved from the initial concept through to final production. No repetitive work, every project presents a new technical challenge.
What will you do?
Working closely with your colleagues, you’ll translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions. Together, you’ll develop concepts, present them to the customer, incorporate feedback and prepare the final design for production.
Using Solid Edge, you’ll create complete 3D models for systems such as:
- Hydraulic power packs
- Hydraulic winches
- Firefighting systems
- Offshore access systems
- Foundation equipment
- Other complex hydraulic drive systems
You’ll select the right materials and components, perform strength calculations and ensure that each design meets all technical requirements while staying within budget.
Since every project is unique, you’ll work closely with colleagues from engineering, production and other disciplines to develop the best possible solution.
Your responsibilities
- Translate technical specifications into manufacturable designs
- Develop and present engineering concepts
- Create 3D models in Solid Edge
- Improve existing systems
- Perform strength and structural calculations
- Select appropriate materials and components
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams
Who are we looking for?
You’re passionate about engineering and enjoy solving complex technical challenges as part of a team. You’re practical, curious and eager to continue learning and developing your skills.
In addition, you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Experience with a 3D CAD system (Solid Edge is an advantage)
- A strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturability
What do we offer?
At Hydrauvision, you’ll have every opportunity to continue developing your skills, not only behind your computer, but also in practice. You’ll see how your designs are manufactured and use that hands-on experience to improve future projects.
In addition, we offer:
- Challenging international projects
- A close-knit team of experienced colleagues
- Competitive employment conditions
- Excellent training and career development opportunities
- A modern working environment
- More than 7 weeks of paid vacation per year
